I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here viewers are convinced that jockey Frankie Dettori will be going into the show as a late arrival, after his absence from this year’s line up and clip of Sunday’s launch episode.
Champion rider Frankie was one of the first stars to be linked with a stint in the jungle for I’m A Celebrity 2023, with his name first thrown into the mix months ago, before others like Marvin Humes, Nigel Farage and Jamie Lynn Spears were a source of speculation. However, unlike those three, Frankie didn’t have a place on the list of confirmed contestants from the ITV show’s return and there was also no sign of him as the first pictures were released of the famous campmates in their jungle gear.
However, that has done little to quash theories from viewers that Frankie WILL indeed still make an appearance in the series, with the man himself appearing to give the game away by landing in Australia earlier this month. And his notable absence from everything to do with I’m A Celebrity has also done little to deter bookies, who still have him very much in the running for a win Down Under. Nearly every bookmakers who have run odds on I’m A Celebrity champion so far still have him in the betting, with him even favourite in one lists of odds seen by ChronicleLive and third in others behind Josie Gibson and Sam Thompson.
Frankie isn’t the only sporting icon tipped to be making a late entrance into the new series either, with Tony Bellew heavily tipped to be joining him in the jungle. . Responding to another fan who’d ruled them out of the show, one X user replied: “Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew are going in late. Wakey wakey..” with a second commenting: “So Tony Bellew & Frankie Dettori are the latecomers this year”
