Vicky Pattison is embracing her fertility marks as she shared a stunning bikini snap on her Instagram as she posed for a pic on the edge of a swimming pool.
The former Geordie Shore star, 35, wore a stylish yellow and green bikini that showed off her toned body and she had her hair resting on her shoulders.
The reality star assured people that the marks on her tummy was not a “dodgy fake tan” as she said: “Late night dip… @borgoegnazia
“Ps that mark on my tummy is not dodgy fake tan although I’ve defos had my fair share of those!”
She continued: “It’s from all of my fertility injections.. I don’t quite know what it is, or if it will ever go away but I’m just going to try and embrace it either way.. It is at the end of the day, a reminder of mine and @ercan_ram’s first attempt at starting our family.. and I need to get on board with all the changes that journey will bring I suppose so I may as well start now.”
Fans who have also experienced the same fertility treatment rushed to support the star and shared a glimpse of their journeys.
One fan said: “I still have a whole bunch of marks in my tummy from fertility treatment. My totally-worth-it beautiful little girl points at them and says “baba” . You look amazing. All the luck in the world for your future xx”.
A second fan wrote: “I’ve gone through it my stomach was marked but it does vanish I have no marks now so don’t worry xxx”, while a third said: “They will go away lovely, keep moisturising I have the exact same marks, which are starting to fade and stopped injecting just over 3 weeks ago You look insane!”
Vicky, who has been open about her fertility struggles in the past, revealed last year that she had started the process of freezing her eggs so that she and her fiancé Ercan Ramadan could start a family in the future.
Since then she has kept it real with her fans and recently shared a vulnerable post of three underwear snaps to document her changing body.
“The human body is pretty amazing… isn’t it??” she captioned the images, before opening up about how over the last two weeks, her “little body has been pumped full of hormones and manipulated into creating 10 eggs, 9 of which were mature and ready for the next stages!”
Vicky signed off the post reminding anyone reading it (including herself) that “bodies change.”
“Our bodies are constantly changing – and whether they’re bigger or smaller, squishy or skinny they are all deserving of love and celebration. And some cocktails in the sun once in a while,” she quipped.
