This Morning viewers are campaigning for Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark to be the show’s full time presenters, with the duo sparking a flurry of demands on social media, as they ended their stint hosting together.
Both ex Big Brother winners, with Josie triumphing in 2010, before Rylan emerged victorious from Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, the popular TV stars had the opportunity to team up for the first time on screen this week, and it took just minutes of them being in action on Monday’s This Morning, for many fans to wholeheartedly back the partnership.
Their four day stint at the helm of the daytime programme has seen them come face-to-face with snakes, undergo a gothic transformation for Halloween and interview stars like Ashley Jenson and Alesha Dixon. And, as Josie and Rylan both thanked each other before credits rolled on their final episode as hosts on Thursday, viewers were quick off the mark with their pleas to ITV bosses to make them permanent.

Before the show had even ended, one fan took to X to write: “Please can Rylan and Josie be given the permanent positions and the main hosts of this morning. I haven’t watched the show for years. This week it has been the best for a really along time. Well done guys. Brilliant job.”
Echoing those sentiments, a second reacted: “@rylan and Josie are the best duo! @thismorning needs to make them the permanent presenters! This is what we’ve been waiting for,” with another fan posting: “you need to have Rylan & Josie on the sofa full time! Such a great duo and amazing with the guests on the show”
Viewers weren’t quite sure if Rylan would be on set with Josie for Thursday’s show, having seen him walk off camera minutes earlier, over something said by Lorraine stand-in host Ranvir Singh. After noticing that, like her, Josie was wearing a white shirt. Ranvir enthused: “Rocking the white shirts today Josie. I like. I love it,” before adding: “Not you Rylan,” as Rylan then retorted: “Yeah, I’ll go. Bye!”
