It’s the one many fans have been waiting for and Strictly Come Dancing has landed in Blackpool for another year, which means the remaining couples get to hit the floor at the iconic Tower Ballroom.
For the first time in the new series, the judges weren’t unanimous with their decision on who to save last week; while Craig, Motsi and Anton all went for Angela and Kai, head judge Shirley said, that if she’d have had the casting vote, she’d have used it to keep Krishnan and Lauren in the BBC show, an opinion shared my many Strictly viewers at home who were left angry by the result.
Angela survived to dance another day and on Saturday night, her and Kai will perform an American Smooth to an Ella Fitzgerald classic, as bookies made them the red hot favourites to get the boot. Other dances set to grace the Tower Ballroom include Layton and Nikita’s Couple’s Choice to a Christina Aguilera anthem and Ellie and Vito, who will be doing a Charleston to Girls Aloud hit Love Machine.

Having made it to Blackpool week, none of the remaining couples want to be sent packing by the seaside, so there should be some brilliant performances on the cards. And who knows? Maybe Craig will even get his 10 out!
