Robert De Niro, 79, has welcomed his seventh child.
The Meet The Parents star confirmed the news in an interview with ET Canada while promoting new film About My Father after he corrected the interviewer who said he had six children.
“I just had a baby,” the Hollywood actor confirmed, but didn’t share the name of the tot or their gender. Robert also didn’t say who the baby’s mother is.
The actor’s first six children range from ages 11 to 51, with the age of his newest addition being unclear.

The pair wed in 1976 and divorced 12 years later.
Following the breakdown of his marriage to Diahnne, Robert started dating actress Toukie Smith and went on to welcome twin sons Aaron and Julian, now 27, together.
Toukie and Robert never wed, but dated for almost a decade.
His second marriage was to Grace Hightower, who he tied the knot with in 1997. Over the course of their marriage, they welcomed two children together: Elliot, 24, and 11 year old Helen Grace.
Chatting to ET Canada about his relationship with Helen Grace, Robert joked that the youngster “gives me grief”.

“You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful,” he said.
“My daughter, she’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know.”
Remaining coy about the gender of his new addition, Robert added: “And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is.”
Robert and ex-wife Grace have had quite a turbulent relationship over the years, and split just two years after marrying in 1997.
They went on to reconcile and renewed their vows in 2004.

2018 was when they separated for the final time, with the pair thought to have been in a divorce battle ever since.
In 2021, Robert’s lawyer alleged that the actor was being “forced to work” in a bid to keep up with Grace’s love for designer fashion.
“Mr. De Niro is 77 years old, and while he loves his craft, he should not be forced to work at this prodigious pace because he has to,” Caroline Krauss said at the time, as per Vanity Fair.
“When does that stop? When does he get the opportunity to not take every project that comes along and not work six-day weeks, 12-hour days so he can keep pace with Ms. Hightower’s thirst for Stella McCartney?”
