A police search is under way for a missing teenage girl who was last seen in the Ashington area.
The family of Evie Coulter are growing increasingly concerned after she went missing on Saturday evening. The 15-year-old was last seen in the North Seaton area at around 6.15pm.
Northumbria Police is now appealing for the public’s help to locate the missing teenager. When she was last seen she was wearing black leggings and a black Nike jumper with a white tick on it.

A statement from the force said: “Evie Coulter, who is 15, was last seen out walking in the North Seaton area of Ashington, in Northumberland, at 6.15pm yesterday (Saturday). Officers and her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Evie is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with long brown hair which is often worn in a bun with a fringe. When she was last seen she was wearing black leggings, a black Nike jumper with a white tick on it, black trainers, and a black puffer-style jacket. Evie is known to frequent the local McDonald’s and Asda stores in Ashington.”
Anyone with information on Evie’s whereabouts should call Northumbria Police immediately on 101, quoting reference number NP-20231118-1214.
