The royal couple posed for a snap at the Belfry resort near Sutton Coldfield as Mike, 44, hosted the 10th annual charity event in aid of Cure Parkinson’s and the Matt Hampson Foundation, which provides support for people suffering from serious injury or disability.
Celebrities such as Denise Van Outen, Ronan Keating and James Nesbitt took part in the golf day, but it was clear that Mike’s MVP was wife Zara, 41.
The loved-up picture of the pair was posted to Instagram by the Tindall Golf account with a caption that quipped: “The amount of begging Mike had to do for Zara to have a photo with him was off the charts.”
The couple wore matching ‘Mike Tindall Celebrity Golf’ black tops and caps – while Mike opted to go for a loud pair of shorts.
One fan commented under the picture: “Wearing those shorts he’s lucky she’s even there!! He’s totally punching.”
Another joked: “Shorts are a crime against the eyes.”
Mike and Zara – who is Princess Anne’s daughter – went out for dinner with the Princess Royal and her husband Timothy Lawrence – as well as Prince Andrew and his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie – at a private club in Mayfair.
And, according to sources, the Tindalls continued their evening at the nearby Arts Club before leaving at 2am.
Speaking about the evening out on Good Morning Britain, Mike said: “It was nice to have a little date night. When you’ve got three children, it’s not always easy to have a little bit of time together to have a drink and chat.”
As host Adil Ray suggested some people would have skipped a late night on the eve of a big day, Mike joked: “I always say never worry about tomorrow, just focus on the moment and you can worry about tomorrow later.”
Mike and Zara attended the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla without a problem on Saturday despite the 2am finish the night before – with Zara looking elegant and fresh-faced for the historic occasion.
The Tindalls are considered to be among the most popular and down-to-earth royals.
Mike proved to be a hit with I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers when he appeared on the reality show last year.
During his time in the jungle, he discussed his alcohol-fuelled first lunch date with Zara.
Mike said: “It ended up being quite a boozy one. And we figured out we both like getting smashed, so…It was a good start.”
The rugby star went on to finish fourth on the reality show.
