Mark Owen returned to the spotlight over the weekend as he performed with Take That for the Coronation Concert to celebrate the crowning of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The 51 year old pop star delighted fans when he joined fellow bandmates Gary Barlow and Howard Donald on stage for the concert – though some viewers were disappointed that Jason Orange wasn’t in attendance.
However, plenty of Take That were just pleased to see that Mark seemed to be back on good form after going through a few widely publicised scandals.
Mark originally left the band back in 1996, six years after he first joined, in order to pursue a solo career.

He released three solo albums – Green Man in 1996, In Your Own Time in 2003 and How The Mighty Fall in 2006.
Although he had a couple of hit singles including Child, I Am What I Am and Four Minute Warning, Mark was never quite able to fully emulate the success he found with Take That.
The star wound up rejoining his former boy band in 2005 and has remained a member ever since.
Mark’s personal life has been blighted by infidelity and addiction.

Mark married his longtime girlfriend Emma Ferguson in 2009 after first getting together with her five years earlier in 2004.
They welcomed a son named Elwood Jack in 2006 after two years of dating and would go on to have two more daughters together.
The couple had Willow Rose in 2008 and Fox India in 2012, meaning they have three kids together in total.
However, the marriage wasn’t always smooth sailing.

Mark confessed to alcohol addiction in 2010 after it emerged that he had cheated on his wife with a string of women.
The star blamed his alcoholism for his infidelity and admitted at the time: “I don’t know how many girls there were in total. Maybe ten?”
Mark admitted himself into rehab to tackle his addiction and has since managed to turn his life around.

In 2021, Mark decided to make a fresh start with his family and relocated his wife and three kids to sunny California.
However, it’s been reported that Mark intends to remain in Take That and he doesn’t expect his move to impact his work with the band.
More recently, the star has shocked fans by debuting a brand new long haired and mustached look – but he admitted that his kids “hate” his new makeover.
He’s also rocking much longer hair than in years past, so seems to be embracing the California lifestyle!
