The 28 year old presenter and radio star, who hosted the hugely-popular dating series for the first time last summer, will be returning for another round of sun-soaked drama.
Almost straight off the back of the winter edition, which was filmed in South Africa, fans will be metaphorically jetting off back to Mallorca, Spain for the series’ mainstay next month.
ITV are yet to reveal any of the cast of this year’s summer offering, but they dropped a mighty tease with a slow-mo clip of the stunning Maya, who recently showed off her incredible abs with a bikini snap on Instagram.
While the video showed the presenter in one of her most iconic outfits from last year’s series, the new clip sent pulses soaring.
Maya wore a halter neck wet-look maxi gown in a velvet rust-coloured fabric.
The clever design meant that the ruffles looked more like the dress was soaking wet and clinging to the star’s toned curves.
Wearing her brunette locks in a side-parting ponytail, Maya looked cool as a cucumber as she took the show host’s signature stroll towards the villa.
“Never, ever basic #mayajama #loveisland,” the caption read on ITVX’s official Instagram.
Fans took to the comments to share their excitement about the next series.
“GREAT host choice looking forward to seeing her on our screens again this summer!” one person wrote.
Another begged: “OMD post the love island teaser/trailers already. I check every hour to see if you postttt.”
“Looking forward to summer,” a third commented.
While a fourth excited fan simply posted a string of heart eyes emojis.
Last year’s summer edition was one of the most favoured yet, with the power couple Turkish actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Italian stallion Davide Sanclimenti taking the winners’ crown in the final.
Runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have unfortunately split up since the show ended last year, despite trying to make things work and even going on a family holiday with Gemma’s footballer dad Michael Owen.
But thankfully, fellow finalists Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, and Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope are still going strong.
Of this year’s winter edition finalists, everyone is still happily together apart from Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, who called it quits following issues with distance and differences in their relationship outside of the villa.
