Laura Anderson looked radiant as she showcased her blossoming baby bump on the red carpet at the annual Cauldwell Children Butterfly Ball on Thursday.
The former Love Island star, 34, who is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy, beamed as she cradled her growing bump at the star-studded event, which took place at the Indigo at The O2.
She was among the celebrity guests at The Butterfly Ball on 11 May. The event, chaired by John Cauldwell, aims to help disabled and autistic children to get a quicker diagnosis.
Laura modelled a sequinned rainbow print midi dress which she paired with metallic gold heels and matching earrings, with her blonde locks styled in bouncy curls.
Laura’s bold and vibrant dress choice was right on trend, with OK!’s deputy style director Zoe Cripps saying the ex-Islander “nailed” the summer trend.
On the rainbow trend, Zoe said: “I’m so happy rainbow is back after nearly a full year of ‘clean girl’ and ‘soft girl’ neutral colour trends. Laura immediately reminded me of a rainbow ice lolly in this dress, and I mean that in the best possible way.
“Ace the colourful trend by pairing a dress like this with a glowing tan – Laura has certainly nailed this – and gold shoes.”
She also provided two similar dresses to Laura’s look, adding: “Kurt Geiger has some incredible rainbow statement pieces like this £149 dress. If you’re on more of a budget, I also love this casual and colourful £65 dress from Nobody’s Child.”
Laura is due to welcome her first child later this year with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy, who she met while filming Celebs Go Dating last year following her split from Dane Bowers.
In February, the 34 year old announced her pregnancy on social media but it iemerged later that day that she and Gary had called time on their relationship.
Gary, 41, told The Sun at the time: “I love Laura but we are no longer together. My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby.”
After announcing their split, Laura told fans she and Gary were “definitely not” on good terms and she was then reportedly left “upset” when Gary shared their baby’s gender on social media with consulting her first.
He announced their baby’s gender as he shared an image of a caption that read “Daddy’s Girl”.
“For everyone that’s been asking. Let’s hope she inherits her mother’s looks. Can’t wait to meet you baby bear,” Gary wrote alongside it.
