The Coronation celebrations continue as King Charles hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace this afternoon, Tuesday 9 May, with the Prince and Princess of Wales in attendance
King Charles has welcomed members of the Royal Family and a host of other special guests to Buckingham Palace for more coronation celebrations after the monarch was officially crowned on Saturday, 6 May.
Some of the first members of the family pictured at the event were Kate Middleton and Prince William, who were without their three children.
Heir to the throne William, 40, looked dapper in a baby blue waistcoat, tie and white shirt, which he paired with a traditional tail coat and top hat.
To match her husband’s blue ensemble, Kate, 41, recycled her beautiful Elie Saab dress – which the royal wore to the Royal Ascot in 2019.
Like the Princess of Wales did four years ago, Kate completed her look with a Philip Treacy hat with floral adornments and the same silver clutch bag.
Kate and William were joined by Prince Edward, 59, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, 58, who also opted for a stunning blue dress.
