The Prince and Princess of Wales have given royal watchers a peek behind the curtain of the Coronation concert with a stylish video, which also revealed a top-secret after-party.
William and Kate’s social media accounts shared the clip after they and other members of the royal family partied the night away to the sounds of music legends like Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Take That at the star-studded Windsor event . They wrote alongside: “A night to remember at the #CoronationConcert.”
In a cute moment, Princess Charlotte and Prince George enthusiastically waved their flags and grooved to the music. While Prince Louis was in attendance to see his grandfather crowned King at Westminster Abbey on May 6, royal fans noticed that the youngster was not with his siblings as it was “past his bedtime”, according to BBC commentary.
The young princess sang along to Katy Perry’s hits “Roar” and “Firework” as the singer dazzled on stage in a glittering gold metallic gown. Katy Perry dedicated the song Firework to Charles and the work they both do for The British Asian Trust.

During the Coronation Concert, the Prince of Wales took the stage and paid tribute to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, while also praising his father’s commitment to green issues, diversity, and support for people of all backgrounds, communities, and faiths. He told how coronations are a “declaration of our hopes for the future”.
Speaking just over 24 hours after swearing allegiance to the new King, the heir to the throne described the Royal Family’s collective pride in his “Pa”. In a shortened version of his speech, Prince William expressed gratitude to everyone who made the occasion special, concluding his tribute with “King, country, and Commonwealth.”
The video ends with a shot of the royal box as they danced and sang along to Take That, who closed the show with a powerful performance of Never Forget.

The Coronation concert held at Windsor Castle was the first of its kind for such an event.
The royal viewing area was occupied by King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Zara and Mike Tindall, and Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
After the Coronation concert on Sunday evening, Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly continued the celebration by hosting an intimate reception.

The likes of Lionel Richie, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, and Katy Perry had performed on stage at Windsor Castle, and it’s possible that some of the international musicians and singers from the concert were also in attendance.
It’s believed that the couple’s children were put to bed before the reception, while guests such as Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie, and Lady Louise were present.
The festivities continued around the UK today with the Big Help Out , a volunteering scheme featuring various royals as they visit London’s Coptic Orthodox Church in London and the Blind Association Training Centre in Reading.
