Just as the band prepare to do two shows in Newcastle this weekend, it’s being reported that JLS star Marvin Humes has signed up for the new series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Over the last few months, rumours have swirled as to which famous faces will follow in the footsteps of 2023 campmates like Chris Moyles, Matt Hancock and reigning Queen of the Jungle, by heading Down Under to join hosts Ant and Dec for the hit ITV show’s latest run. Names in the mix for the I’m A Celebrity line-up this time round have included This Morning host Josie Gibson, soap stars Alan Halsall, Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard and outspoken politician Nigel Farage.
Other stars to see their names linked with a trip to the jungle range from American rapper Flava Flav to horse racing legend Frankie Dettori and now it’s JLS’ Marvin who is at the centre of huge speculation that he’s already signed on the dotted line to do I’m A Celebrity. A source told The Sun: “Marvin would be a brilliant signing. Not only is he known to fans of The X Factor and fans of JLS, but the audience for The Hit List and This Morning spans from kids right through older viewers.

“And with Rochelle’s backing, he’s got a ready made fan base. He’ll have lots of showbiz stories to tell, too, from his 15 years in the limelight.”
JLS will play two concerts at the Utlita Arena in Newcastle on Saturday, November 4, with the group taking to the stage in the city for matinee and evening performances. The group’s tour is set to end on November 11, meaning Marvin’s schedule will be cleared for I’m A Celebrity.
