Prince Harry attended his dad King Charles III’s Coronation over the weekend without his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids.
Questions around whether Harry, 38, would attend at all plagued the royal family in the weeks leading up to the big day.
The Prince is no longer a working royal after he quit the UK for California in 2020.
Harry has repeatedly spoken to journalists about his time spent in the firm and even wrote a tell all book, Spare, which was released in the UK on 10 January.
Royal watchers were expecting something of a frosty reception for the Prince when he arrived at King Charles’ coronation, but noticed that one royal seemed to be making an effort to make sure he felt included in the festivities.
Zara, who arrived with her husband Mike Tindall, seemed to turn around and break away from the group she was walking with to acknowledge Harry.
Royal watchers think that Zara, 41, turned around to mouth the word “hi” to her cousin Harry.
It’s thought that Zara and her husband Mike are among the few royals that he’s remained close to after leaving for America.
Last September, when Harry returned to the UK to mourn his grandmother, he and Zara were spotted leaving a late night vigil together.
Harry was even said to have introduced Zara to her husband Mike after arranging a drink between the three of them at the Rugby World Cup in Sydney back in 2003.
Harry’s thought to have remained close to another of his cousins, Princess Eugenie, who he sat with during the ceremony.
In his memoir Spare, Harry revealed that Eugenie was one of the first family members to know when he started dating his now-wife, and it looks like they’ve remained close in the years since.
The 38 year old Prince was also pictured speaking to Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, before the coronation began.
It’s thought that Harry is still keeping his distance from his father King Charles and brother Prince William.
The two brothers, who used to be very close, weren’t pictured interacting at all during Saturday’s event despite sitting just a few rows apart.
