The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 31, shared a new teaser clip for hers and fiancé Tommy Mallet‘s ITVBe reality show, Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps, on Instagram on Monday, with the upcoming series set to focus on the pair heartbreakingly losing their second baby at 12 weeks.
The teaser showed Tommy, 31, and Georgia speaking about their loss, with Tommy beginning by saying: “It’s been a really tough year so far.”
Georgia, who shares son Brody, two, with Tommy, then said: “It started off amazing…,” with Tommy adding: “But then turned into heartache.”
Georgia could then be seen crying as she emotionally admitted: “I don’t think I’ve ever known pain like it.”
The TOWIE star went on to say that she and Tommy had “stayed strong” and “stuck together as a family” in order to cope with their loss.
“And we have the most amazing, beautiful boy to be thankful for,” Tommy added, as clips of Brody cuddling his mum and dad were shown.
In April, Georgia took to Instagram to announce she and Tommy had lost their baby after attending their 12 week scan. The heartbroken mum also revealed that after discovering their baby had not survived she also needed an operation to remove the pregnancy.
“12 weeks of feeling every emotion, hoping & praying but in the end, nothing else we could of done,” the star told her followers, adding that she felt so lucky to have amazing friends and family around her and Tommy.
Georgia returned to Instagram a few weeks later to thank her fans for all of the messages she’d received and explained why she wanted to continue filming Baby Steps despite her heartbreaking miscarriage.
“As tommy said we was filming series 4 of our show when everything happened & we decided to carry on filming ..
“I think it’s important to show the good & the bad .. it has been hard to film at times & bits will be hard to watch but it has also made me talk out loud which I think really helps..” Georgia continued.
The reality TV star went on to say that she had noticed there was often “silence” following the loss of a baby but she felt that speaking about her baby had helped her.
