Billie Shepherd has opened up on the “horrendous” experience that she and husband Greg Shepherd were forced through during a walk earlier this week with their newborn daughter, Margot.
Speaking to sister and fellow ex-TOWIE star Sam Faiers on their popular podcast, The Sam and Billie Show, the 33-year-old mother-of-three revealed that the trio were chased down the street my a swarm of bees.
“Omg, so listen! I was walking back, right, down one of the roads where we live, I could hear, like – do you know when we were chatting away walking with the pram? I could hear, like, a buzz. I thought it was like, working going on,” she told Sam.
“I looked up, right, and *gasps* I reckon there must have been 10,000 bees, the biggest swarm. I’ve never seen that. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen it.
“I screamed – started running back with the pram. I had a mac on – there were people in cars looking and me and Greg like we were nutters,” she laughs. “If you were driving past, you probably wouldn’t have really noticed it.
“I’ve taken my mac off, thrown it over the pram because obviously, I’ve got Margot. Now, we’ve got to get passed this swarm, it’s all on one side of the road. So, what we do, is we cross the road, we run. There were ones coming off the swarm.”
“I don’t know what the size the hive was, but it was like something out a movie,” Billie added. “We were sprinting. It looked crazy.”
Last week, the TV star sisters jetted off to Paris, where they enjoyed a quick 48 hour long trip with their mum Suzie Wells.
The trio stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in the centre of the city, a gorgeous and lavish five star hotel which has rooms starting at a staggering £3,284 a night – but does boasts views of the Eiffel Tower.
Sam, Suzie and Billie made sure to make the most of the city’s nightlife as Sam shared that they had “danced all night” and Billie posted a picture of the menu at a cocktail bar they stopped by.
It certainly looked like their night out was no expense spared, as the prices visible on the menu suggested that a single drink would start at 22 euros, of around £19 each.
The trio also stopped to eat a L’Avenue, an upscale Bistro right in the centre of the city, which offers a steak main course for £49 or 56 euros.
The trip was mum of three Sam’s first ever night away from her youngest son Edward, who she gave birth to in May 2022.
