Amber Heard has been spotted cuddling her two year old daughter Oonagh Paige in Madrid, Spain, where they’re believed to have relocated to permanently after “quitting Hollywood”.
The 37 year old actress is thought to have moved to somewhere just outside of Madrid following her blockbuster defamation trial with Johnny Depp last year, which she lost.
When she was snapped in Spain, the actress looked happy and relaxed as she enjoyed a trip to the park with her little girl, whose father’s identity has never been confirmed.
She dressed casually for the outing in a black t-shirt and a pair of black jeans, whilst her blonde hair was scraped back from her face in a fuss-free ponytail.
Speaking of Amber’s decision to move to Spain, a friend told MailOnline: “She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.
“I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project.”
Amber is thought to have cut ties with the US, even selling her property in Yucca Valley, California, for almost double what she paid for it.
The Aquaman actress is no doubt enjoying a slower-paced life after having the eyes of the world on her during the trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp last year, which was televised.
A jury at Fairfax County Court returned a verdict in his favour and he was awarded 10.3 million dollars (£8.43 million) for damage to his reputation.
After rumours Amber would appeal the verdict, the actress revealed she had decided to settle with Johnny, as she wrote on Instagram: “After a great deal of deliberation I have made a very difficult decision to settle the defamation case brought against me by my ex-husband in Virginia.
“It’s important for me to say that I never chose this. I defended my truth and in doing so my life as I knew it was destroyed. The vilification I have faced on social media is an amplified version of the ways in which women are re-victimised when they come forward.”
She continued: “Now I finally have an opportunity to emancipate myself from something I attempted to leave over six years ago and on terms I can agree to.
“I have made no admission. This is not an act of concession. There are no restrictions or gags with respect to my voice moving forward.
“I make the decision having lost faith in the American legal system, where my unprotected testimony served as entertainment and social media fodder.”
She went on to express that she couldn’t go through a third trial and “relive” the “humiliation” that she experienced in the prior one with Johnny.
