Amazon offering £400 off Fire TV in Black Friday sale with exclusive Prime deal

Amazon is offering shoppers an incredible deal on a Fire TV in its Black Friday sale, with Prime members able to get it for a whopping 73% off.

The online retail giant launched its Black Friday offers on Friday, November 17, offering huge savings on its own devices including Fire TVs, Echo smart speakers and Ring home security, alongside deals on top brands across tech, homeware, beauty and loads more. Shoppers who sign up to Prime can also get exclusive access to a series of ‘Invite-Only’ deals for Black Friday, with the first of these deals already garnering huge attention from bargain-hunting shoppers.

The Amazon Fire TV 55-inch 4-series 4K UHD Smart TV has a full price tag of £549.99 – but as part of an Invite-Only deal, customers signed up to Prime will have the chance to buy it for just £149.99, spelling savings of £400. Prime members can request an invite to the deal, and emails will later be sent out to successful shoppers with a unique link to purchase the TV at the reduced price.

Invites to access this offer will be sent out by Amazon via email between November 22 and November 25, so keep an eye on your inbox between these dates after you have requested an invite. However, Amazon has cautioned that “limited quantities” of the TV are available, and not everyone will be successful in receiving an invitation.

If you don’t have a Prime membership, the good news is that Amazon is currently offering a 30-day free trial for those who haven’t signed up to the service too recently, meaning you will be able to access this and other Invite-Only deals for no extra cost. A Prime membership also comes with a whole host of other perks including free fast delivery, which could be extra handy for anyone planning a Black Friday shopping spree.

One of the most well-known perks of an Amazon Prime membership – which usually costs £8.99 per month – is access to Prime Video, Amazon’s streaming service which includes thousands of movies and TV shows including original series such as The Wheel of Time, The Boys, The Devil’s Hour and The Rig. But there are a few other entertainment services included in a subscription that often go unnoticed by customers.

Prime Reading gives book lovers access to thousands of books, magazines, comics, Kindle singles and more, with fiction, non-fiction and children’s books to choose from. Meanwhile, Amazon Music gives members access to over 100 million songs and top-podcasts, and Prime Gaming features free games to download.

Of course, Amazon isn’t the only retailer to have dropped prices for Black Friday, with high street favourites including Boots and John Lewis having revealed their deals on November 1. The Range has also launched its Black Friday deals with Christmas decorations, furniture, lighting and homeware all seeing their prices drop, while deals website Wowcher has lined up some early offers on holidays, tech and festive gifts too.

Bestselling brands that always prove popular around this time of year have even released special products for the occasion, with Ninja launching a ‘deluxe’ limited edition range of kitchen appliances as well as slashing prices. Partner brand Shark has also released some of its bestselling vacuum cleaners in a sleek new colour, with shoppers able to grab them for up to £180 off their full price.
